Family Guy!

Family Guy is an American, digitally animated, adult sitcom created by Seth McFarlane for the Fox Broadcasting Company in 1999. In all honesty the animation in this could be seen as quite lazy because the characters are usually only seen side on and all in a similar position. However I think the main purpose behind this show is the comedy element behind it. Its audience is mainly teens and adults since the humour in it is very adult.

During the show it is clear to see that a lot of thought has gone into the overall environment and not just the characters. Which is apparent in these image on the left, the environment is very family orientated. I wouldn't say that any of the characters can be defined by their body language or posture because they all move around in a similar way, I would say the only thing that distinguishes them is appearance, voice and personality. Another possible purpose however could be to make the parents look in some cases, less capable than the children.
